Summer is a time to get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and shake up your daily routine.
If your day-to-day is getting stale, we can help. Park Property Management Inc. has a list of five out of the ordinary things to do in Toronto this summer.
Eat from a food vendor
Union Summer is one of the best places to eat this season. Union Station is host to over 20 food vendors, mobile carts, and outdoor entertainment! This summer market is a great opportunity to try new foods outside in the beautiful summer weather. Open every day through to September 5th. Stop by once or several times and grab some amazing food.
Enjoy Summer flowers
Celebrate summer at Allan Gardens Conservatory and view the summer flower show. You can also check out the Royal Botanical Gardens all summer long for a free 90 minute tour of the gardens.
Explore the city as a tourist
Spending a day out and experiencing how tourists view your city could be just what you need to revamp your stale summer routine. Be sure to check out Kensington Market, The Free Harbour and Island Cruise, and Nathan Phillips Square.
Get adventurous on the water
Head over to the Harbourfront Canoe and Kayak centre and learn how to have fun on the water with a kayak, canoe, or stand up paddleboard. Already mastered these sports? Why not take a friend and enjoy the day together on the water?
Shake up your fitness routine
Are you bored of your fitness routine or having a hard time staying focused and on track? Summer is the perfect time to switch things up. Take your fitness outdoors and find new and fun places to get fit like Baldwin Steps, Riverdale Park, or David Balfour Park Trail.
